“You need no magickal tools, elaborate robes, or witchy jewelry to make this trip. Just bring along your passion and self-discipline, your humility and your courage, your determination and your faith. Unlike the road of the mainstream religions where the flock must play Follow the Leader into the realms of higher learning, we Witches must find that path ourselves and walk it alone. This requires the courage of our convictions, faith in our deities, trust in ourselves, and a balance in all areas of our life that allows us to walk the path of self-responsibility to bravely face the wonders of ‘that which can never be told.’”

This much-needed text leads practitioners through five-degree studies, from beginning concepts all the way through more advanced and integrative practices: First Degree: Path of Intellect, Second Degre… More >>

What is Wicca and Pagan? Who is your Higher Power? What beliefs are followed?

The following is a question asked on Yahoo Answers. The comments reflect the views of the individual and not the website as a whole.
Question:
Very interested to know the difference between the two. I just want some backround, the practices, the beliefs, i have already read up on the history of it. Can someone explain? Is it considered “evil” to people of the Christian and Judiasm religion? Thanks in advance.
