Question:
No more christmas trees, no lights, cards , no time off from work to be with family. No talk about Jesus Christs birth and the “reason for the season” thing. No December 25 . No candle light services in churches. No santa claus. No toys. No shopping. Just stop the holiday totally ! No Christmas Eve or Happy holidays. As SOME say ” its nothing about Jesus Christ being born” “the dates wrong” , “its nothing but pagan” God doesn’t want anyone to celebrate birthdays, holidays, worldly things.
Just erase the day Plain and simply just another winter day.
If you want to shut down Christmas and any mention of Christ being born lets stop the Easter holiday and stop telling others about Jesus dying on the cross. Any other Christian holidays I failed to mention.
Oh Thanksgiving …..lets stop thanking God for blessing us !
Are you kidding me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can tell you I am not JW.
I just want to see where the support for such a thing is coming from !!!
I am just SHOCK that so many well meaning Christians and others do not celebrate The Lord coming to earth to Be our Savior and KING !
“We hold this day Holy, not like the pagans because of the birth of the sun, but because of HIM Who made it ! ”

Question:
My school has two main groups.
Group A-The stereotypical “preps”, athletes, etc. They’re Christians and usually claim (emphasis on the claim) to be abstinent. They’re very predicable, but a few of them are my friends and are very sweet. (Though some are mean to my friends from Group B)
Group B-The stereotypical punks, goths, scenes, and other alternative groups. They’re usually opinionated liberal atheists or Neo-Pagans who reject anything that IS the norm. They make fun of anyone who shops at Abercrombie & Fitch. They’re spontaneous, adventurous, and they tend to sleep around (and are proud of it)… unlike Group A.
I have friends from both groups. I am not like either of them. I listen to Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc. I shop at Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Mod Cloth. I don’t identify as a Republican or a Democrat (though I hate the Republicans slightly less). I hate abstinence programs, but I also am not promiscuous either. I’m not as cookie cutter as Group A, but I’m not as spontaneous as Group B. I like a concert and the occasionally skinny dipping, but I like to be at home and stay at one place sometimes. I feel like I don’t fit into either group. Each group is always trying to get me to side with one. I’m worried about when I go back to school, but right now I’m pretty much avoiding everyone. What should I do?
The groups aren’t exactly happy about me hanging out with both :-/

Question:
I’m toying with the idea of opening a new shop in my area to service various wicca-pagan types. There is no store in the area of that type. I am wondering though, if witches might actually prefer shopping on the internet these days. So any thoughts are appreciated. I’m in a rual-ish community, and I think you have to go about 80 miles to find anything like this (except whatever books they sell at borders) I’m thinking of having tols and herbs and stuff like that too though, do you think it will be popular, or do you think all my customers would be teenagers? (not that that is necessarily bad, just not enough)

Question:
So I have known this girl for quite a long time. I sometimes hang around in his family’s Craft shop. Some of my kip don’t like me to associate with “those infidel that damned to hell”, while her family tends to act “too cool” if I hang out in their shop.
We’re just close friend, platonic relationship. Neither I nor she wants to convert each other. I believe that Paganism is “empowering”, while she acknowledges that Christianity foundation of love is quite pure indeed.
How should we deal with those slandering us of wiceked things? Sometimes I feel like if they can burn us at stake and get away with it, they will….

Question:
Okay so I am young. I want to be pagan or wiccan I don’t know every little detail I would like to know so please help me figure this out. Email me, send me links to good sites, and stuff. I would like to know things I should get and books to get. Also I don’t have much access to new age shops and places for wiccans and pagans so please don’t tell em to go there. And just saying because this may help, I am leaning to wiccan or acceltic paganism.
Don’t bash on me for believing in this and saying this religion is stupid/ devil worship.
Also don’t say I can’t do this because I am under the age of 18 or don’t know what I am talking about because I do!
I am not an agnostic. I pretty much believe in the goddess and definitely god.

Question:
Me & my best friend (Lisa) have known each other for about 4 years. In that time period we have developed a strong relationship. We’ve become really close, even though we’re polar oppisites, shes kind of goth, and i’m kind of street, short tall, black, white, oh, and here’s the ringer: christian, wiccan. But for some reason I really like her, and a mutual friend told me she liked me to. We hang out alot, i know she likes asian food (Korean, chinese, japanese, etc…) and coffee shops, and ive been trying to figure out where to ask her to, cause usually I just make something up on the spot, but she just smiles and says “We always have fun, it doesnt matter where we go”, but idk where to take her, any suggestions?
Another friend of mine has the same problem (see my other questions) so if u have any suggestions for him that would be great 2, the girl he lkes is kinda preppy, and pretty rich, and he’s middle classe and doesnt want not to take her somewhere beneath her. ANy help is great!
